May 2020 Item of the Month

Wyoming Food for Thought Project provides a year-round weekend food bag program to food insecure children throughout Natrona County and Glenrock. This includes the average two-day weekends, as well as extended holiday breaks such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring break.

During 2019, we provided over 289,000 meals to food insecure children!

The Item of the Month for May is Crackers, but this month we are doing things a little differently.

With the Coronavirus Pandemic in full force, we want to keep our volunteers, donors, employees and children safe, so we ask that people interested in contributing to our weekend food bag program do so from a distance via a mailed check to 900 Saint John St. Casper, WY 82601 or an online donation.

With the limited amount of resources available to our community at this time, we ask from a loving place that you refrain from purchasing food - our Program Center is closed for the time being, so we will be unable to accept food donations on site.

We are, however, forming a game plan for additional food bag distributions with the extension of the school closures, so be on the lookout for that information soon.

We're all in this together.
