Christmas Break Packing

$13,866 That's how much money we project to spend to cover the 18-day Christmas Break this Holiday Season. That will provide all 700 children on our program with a breakfast, lunch, and dinner for every single day they are out of school - a total of 54 meals (not including snacks). But as overwhelming as that number sounds, we know that completing the biggest packing to date can be done with your help. Consider one of the following ways to get involved below: 1. Volunteer: Help with set up or the actual stuffing (Tuesday, December 13th) 2. Host a Food Drive: Challenge your fr

Help us to "Stuff the Van" this holiday season with toys for kids in need here in Casper. Monetary donations will be used to purchase food for kids who participate in the Food for Thought Food Bag Program, to supply children in need with food bags over weekends and extended holiday breaks away from school. If you are interested in volunteering, feel free to give us a call at 337.1703, or click here for more information.

Birds n Bucks Food Drive

The Birds n Bucks Food Drive is the biggest and most successful annual community Thanksgiving drive in Casper, which helps over 400 families in need around Casper every holiday season! Led by Wyoming Food for Thought Project and Townsquare Media, we will be working with a handful of dedicated local organizations to raise "birds n bucks" for the families in need within our community. Donations can be dropped off on November 11th at Walmart East between 7AM and 7PM. You may also give online at www.wyfftp.org or make a donation over the phone at 307.337.1703. Business donations will be mentioned over the radio throughout the day as part of a Business Challenge, so be sure to get your free

November Item of the Month

Wyoming Food for Thought Project provides a year-round weekend food bag program - just because kids are now out of school, doesn't mean hunger ends. That is why we decided that this year, we are going to suggest and highlight a donation item for each month, to help with acquiring more bulk amounts of essential items we need. We do, however, accept and greatly appreciate any and all donations that come through the door, and can assure you that your donation will be used locally. November's Item of the Month is Soup! Donations can be dropped at any of our Drop Site locations, including: - Dance Evolutions Studio - Keyhole Outdoor Living - Great Harvest Bread Co. - Eastside WAC - Reliant FCU -
