Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are vital to the continuance and completion of many, many tasks here at Wyoming Food for Thought Project. From packing weekend food bags, delivering the bags, organizing the food room, and working in the garden, to processing and dehydrating donated goods in the kitchen, every job is important.

We would like to personally thank each and every volunteer who has come through the door. You are getting us one step closer to alleviating hunger within Natrona County with every hour you have dedicated to us. Thank you.

Garden Volunteers

Help with various garden projects and tasks at any of our community garden sites. Tasks may include starting plants, tilling garden beds, building raised beds, installing rain barrels, weeding and more. Some gardening experience preferred but not required. We can teach and train anyone interested in getting their hands dirty and learning how to garden.

Other Ways You Can Help

We have a few alternative ways you can support our mission in case you may want to be involved but do not have the time or finances. Scroll through the options below and see if there's an appropriate fit with what you are most interested in.

Donate Food

We deliver 8400 meals per week to children in need around the community. That means we need as many food items as we can get! Donations make a difference. Food donations can be dropped off anytime during our office hours at our program center. We’re located at 900 Saint John Street in North Casper. Click here for a list of food items we're most in need of.

Hold a Food Drive

Want to help us gather the food items we need to deliver 8400 meals per week in Casper? One of the best ways to do this is to hold your very own food drive! Fill out the form below to run a food drive for Wyoming Food For Thought Project.

Become a Food Drop Site

Donation drop site locations are essential to the success of our weekend food bag program. Not only do we receive continual intake of non-perishable food items, but it is also a great opportunity for the community to become more aware of our mission and what we stand for. Contact us to become a drop site today.
